GEDOMIS Testbed (part 2)

GEDOMIS ® (generic hardware demonstrator for MIMO systems) is a multi-antenna wireless test bed that allows the prototyping and evaluation of algorithms for physical layer with MIMO techniques. This is possible due to the heterogeneous structure and reconfigurable mixed with FPGA and DSP processing components of the baseband signal that can be used for the validation and implementation of real-time communications systems to wireless broadband. GEDOMIS ® is currently hosting aIEEE 802.16e-2005 system (mobile WiMAX) with a 2x2 MIMO configuration with a bandwidth of greater than 20 MHz channel receiver physical layer algorithms in Matlab, have been designed in VHDL modeled and implemented in real-time platform FPGA Lyrtech Inc.
